Hello Readers, We are a couple of low tech Home Inspection guys trying to communicate in a high tech world.  Here in this blog, we as home inspectors will attempt to untangle some of the mysteries surrounding home inspections, and tackle some of the construction wording, or terms that are apt to vex the lay person.

Home inspections are largely a visual experience. For us translating that process into words is a never ending challenge.  Complicating this process is the fact that we are often dumbfounded by the uncanny ability of well intentioned people to screw things up in entirely unique ways.  Indeed, at times we are at a near complete loss for words to describe what we have seen, yet for our clients we must try to do so.

Here on a post by post basis we will strive for clarity, be informative, and at times be shockingly blunt.   Stick around there may be pictures, and hey wish us luck.
